WRATH OF THE TITANS filming in 10 days

Coming Soon has come up with the exclusive that the not so anticipated sequel to CLASH OF THE TITANS is starting to roll in 10 DAYS!

Sitting in the director’s chair is Jonathan Liebesman who did the little horror film DARKNESS FALLS which for some reason I am a big fan of, and new film BATTLE: LOS ANGELES which comes out on 11 March.

Liebesman told Coming Soon that the actors have been in training for the last three weeks and he has been looking at interesting locations in places like England, Wales and the Canary Islands. He says the film will be shooting in ten days in order to make their March 23rd 2012 release date. Here’s what he has to say about the feel of film;

“It’s going to be a much more natural gritty, grounded fantasy movie.  Just think ‘Gladiator’ with lots of creatures, I’m excited. It’s a good opportunity to do something awesome with some great actors in a great genre.”

It strange to suddenly hear how fast the production is moving and I can only hope that he can pull it off. hey if it’s going to be a gritty feel and look to it they may even bring back the Harryhausen special effects… One can only dream.

Paul finished is BA in Film & Broadcast Productions during the summer and has somehow landed the position of Media & Marketing Manager in the London Korean Film Festival happening this November (plug). While at University Paul found his speciality lay in Script Development, scriptwriting and Editing. He has written, edited and director a small number of not very good short films but does not let that dissuade him from powering through. After the Koreans are through with him he looks to enter the paid world of Script Development. He likes incredibly bad horror films, East Asian movies, comics and lots of other stuff.
