HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA is my least anticipated horror themed animated movie this autumn after PARANORMAN and FRANKENWEENIE, and not just because it’s CGI. The voice actors are a huge red-flag for this Sony Animations effort and they can’t hide behind those computerised facades forever. But if the likes of Adam Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade and Andy Samberg get your motors humming then by all means check this out.
The posters are bright and colourful and demonstrate what this film should have focused on and that’s the director Genndy Tartakovsky. The trailers for HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA look and feel nothing like his incredible work on SAMURAI JACK and DEXTER’S LABORATORY. However, I did giggle at the poster for The Invisible Man.

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA is released 12th October 2012. It stars the vocal talents of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James and David Spade.
