The Bad Boys 4 trailer has arrived online as well as an official title for the upcoming movie which once again reunites Will Smith and Martin Lawrence for another action-packed adventure on the streets of Miami.
The fourth movie will be titled Bad Boys: Ride Or Die and will land in UK cinemas from 5th June. That’s actually not that far off, right? Excited?
We don’t have an official synopsis but Sony Pictures have left us a logline for the new movie along with the Bad Boys 4 trailer.
It reads:
This Summer, the world’s favourite Bad Boys are back with their iconic mix of edge-of-your seat action and outrageous comedy but this time with a twist: Miami’s finest are now on the run.
The movie is directed by Adil & Bilall from a screenplay by Chris Bremner.
The cast includes: Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Nuñez, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Jacob Scipio, Melanie Liburd, Tasha Smith, Tiffany Haddish and Joe Pantoliano. Yes, Joe Pantoliano who was – spoiler alert- killed off in the last episode Bad Boys For Life. The police captain makes an appearance seemingly from beyond the grave having seemingly been framed in a police corruption racket. The Bad Boys of Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey are caught up in the thick of it and look to be on the run from even badder guys in the new film.
Shooting on the flick wrapped quite recently due to the delay casued by last year’s strikes, but it was though that there was only around a week’s worth of footage to be caught. With the release of this trailer it looks like a lot of the effects work and post was already complete on the movie with that release just under three months away.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die will release a couple of days later than the UK release stateside where it hits on on June 7th.
