Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, best mate Oscar winners for Good Will Hunting, are set to re-team on screen for filmmaker Joe Carnahan’s new crime thriller RIP, so says the trade paper Deadline.
No details on the plot of the movie but the package is said to be already attracting big attention from distributors and streamers. What we do know, via the trade, is that Affleck and Damon’s company Artists Equity is producing with a shoot set for later this year.
Artists Equity is behind the fantastic Affleck and Damon starrer Air – pictured – (which Affleck also directed) and the brilliant Cillian Murphy-led Small Things Like These which opened this year’s Berlinale (my review here).
More news on RIP, which is written and directed by Carnahan (The A-Team, Narc).
