The host of this year's Oscars is set to be announced later today. Speculation is arife across the Internet as to who the host of the 78th Academy Awards will be, but the LA Times have stated that the job will go to Jon Stewart. Stewart is relatively unknown over here in the UK, but in the US, he is well known for hosting 'The Daily Show', and the Grammy Awards in 2001 and 2002.
