Jimmy Fallon and Sharon Stone have committed to the indie drama ELLIOT ROCKET, according to Variety.
The film will be Patrick Sisam’s directorial debut, who wrote the screenplay along with Rick Velleu. Fallon will play a man utterly devoted to his work, but unable to commit to anything else in his personal life, including his girlfriend. After his father has a stroke, he returns to his hometown to face his dysfunctional past, which includes his mother, played by Stone. The story is based on a collection of short stories by Ethan Canin.
Holly Wiersma is producing . Clearly she can’t seem to get enough, as she just worked with Fallon on the upcoming Weinstein Co. film "Factory Girl". First Look Pictures will handle international sales on the film, which is scheduled to begin shooting in February.
