Eva Green feels “ill” if she doesn’t like a film she’s working on.
The ‘Franklyn’ actress is “picky” with her roles because she has to whole-heartedly love a movie script otherwise she will feel unwell throughout shooting.
She said: “I’ve been lucky. But the thing is, I wish I could learn to do work for the sake of it. Sometimes actors do this. They learn from each experience, even if the film was not that great. I can’t do that. I feel ill if I can’t. I need to love it with my heart
“I’m too picky. Sometimes you just… I’m learning. I have to force myself. I should work more – just to keep going.”
The 29-year-old beauty – who is also known for her work on ‘Casino Royale’ and ‘The Golden Compass’ – is insecure about her acting ability and worries she will look “bland” on-screen.
She told The Scotsman newspaper: “When I’m prepping and really working on it, I’m freaking out: that I’m not going to measure up, it’s not going to work, I’m going to look so bland, and I have no idea what the director wants. I freak out completely.”
