Katie Price found it harder breaking-up with Alex Reid than Peter Andre.
The former glamour model, 31, – who dumped cage-fighter Alex on live television last week after quitting UK reality TV show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ – is struggling more with the aftermath of their split than she did when her marriage to the Australian singer ended earlier this year and hasn’t ruled out a reconciliation with Alex.
She told Britain’s Hello! magazine: “I was really falling for the guy and I can’t switch off feelings just like that. So I’m not entirely ruling anything out anything between us.
“Strangely enough, I feel more hurt from this split right now than I did with Pete because I had known for some time from seeing a marriage counsellor that it probably wouldn’t have lasted. Lots of things had happened, whereas with Alex, it seemed a fresh new start. ”
Katie – whose divorce from the Australian singer was finalised in September – started dating Alex Reid only months are splitting from Peter.
Alex flew out to Australia intending to propose to Katie – who raises three children, Harvey, seven, Junior, four, and Princess Tiaamii, two with Peter – when she existed the programme, but was stunned when she called time on their relationship.
