Lethal Weapon star Rene Russo — yeah, the one who got her kit off in the remake of The Thomas Crown Affair — is making a welcomed return to the big-screen to play the stepmother of the title character in Kenneth Branagh’s Thor film.
Russo will be playing Frigga, Odin’s wife, the Queen of Asgard and stepmother to The Mighty Thor!
Shooting on the film, which stars Chris Hemsworth as the title character, kicks off in January for a May 20, 2011 release.
