Thriller, Muppets and Dog Day preserved forever!

Twenty-five films are to be preserved after the United States’ National Library of Congress added them to the National Film Registry. Said films include the classic Al Pacino movie DOG DAY AFTERNOON, the superb Michael Jackson video THRILLER (directed by John Landis), and THE MUPPETS MOVIE (wahey!). Every year, said registry chooses 25 films as cultural, artistic, or historic treasures and preserves them. There are now already more that 500 in the expanding library.
