British actress Lucy Punch is set to star opposite Kate Hudson in EARTHBOUND, the drama from the Film Department, which also stars Gael Garcia Bernal.
The film is about a woman (Hudson) who learns she has been stricken with cancer before meeting a new guy. Punch will play the woman’s best friend and advertising agency co-worker, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Punch will next be seen in YOUNG AMERICANS and Woody Allen’s 2010 effort YOU WILL MEET A TALL DARK STRANGER.
EARTHBOUND is being directed by Nicole Kassell from a script by Gren Wells.
