Radcliffe: 'Deathly Hallows' toughest Potter to make

Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, has admitted to Empire magazine that the latest installment in the franchise, HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, was the toughest film to shoot. He even compared the thing to Hamlet.

“It is the hardest film to do, absolutely,” Radcliffe said. “I’m not sure anyone would disagree with me on that one. But as long as you equal that kind of toughness with you enthusiasm, then it sort of goes away.

“When the seventh book came out, David Heyman finished it a couple of days before I did. He rang up and said, ‘How do you fancy playing Hamlet?’ Not that I would ever say this is the same, because it’s not. I think Hamlet‘s a lot harder. But yeah, it is a rollercoaster.”

The new issue of Empire is out now.
