With yesterday’s news that Sony have parked the production of SPIDER-MAN 4 with ‘script issues’, rival Paramount/ Marvel has now decided to release Kenneth Branagh’s THOR movie two weeks earlier on May 6th, 2011.
Trade Variety reports the news that Disney have also grabbed THOR’s previous release date, May 20, 2011 for their fourth installment in the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN franchise. They had both better get movie as neither of these films have started shooting yet, although THOR is scheduled to go into production this month. Couldn’t tell you about ‘Pirates 4’ as it hasn;t even got a director yet…
