Michael Cera disappointed at 'Revolt' lost scenes

Michael Cera was disappointed some scenes didn’t make the final cut of ‘Youth In Revolt’.

The 21-year-old actor, best known for his role in US TV series ‘Arrested Development’, claimed only a few scenes were cut for the final piece.

He said: “There’s a fight with Lefty, Erik Knudsen, who’s my friend in the movie. We wrestle on the ground and it was really fun to shoot and we got really, really into it. Hurt each other a lot and that’s not in there.

“There’s a phone call between Francois and Trent, Jonathan B. Wright, that happens before you meet Trent. You don’t see him, you just see the back of his head and it’s kind of a nice little thing before you meet him. But it had to be cut for time.”

However, he added the deleted scenes would be put in the DVD version of the movie.

Michael also claimed that a large amount was cut out from the original C. D. Payne novel to adapt it to film.

He told RopeofSilicon.com: “There’s a lot left out. Entire story points or entire characters and their whole journeys in the story. But we only cut out a few scenes that were filmed.”
