According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog, Peter Sarsgaard is intalks to join the cast of director Martin Campbell’s GREEN LANTERN over at Warner Brothers.
Sarsgaard will play Dr. Hector Hammond, the bad guy of the piece in the movie, which stars Ryan Reynolds in the starring role. Reynolds plays Hal Jordan, the test pilot who finds a downed spacecraft with a dying alien who passes him a powerful ring, introducing Jordan to a interstellar police force known as the Green Lanterns.
Shooting kicks off in March in New Orleans.
