There is movement on the 24 movie front. After eight seasons of what has become one of the best TV shows ever (bar The Shield and The Sopranos imoa…) 24 could finally be heading to the silver screen.
20th Century Fox have done the decent thing and hired a screenwriter to pen a script for the thing, and that screenwriter is none other than Billy Ray (Flightplan, State Of Play). ray recently pitched an idea to the studio which saw star and executive producer Kiefer Sutherland’s character head to the far climbs of Europe — and they were very impressed with it…
Now, as to how quickly this project heads to the big screen very much depends on whether Fox TV order another series of the show, and so far they have not. We’ll keep you posted.
