Working Title and Universal plan more Johnny English

Working Title Films and Universal all planning some more spy themed comedy in a sequel to the Rowan Atkinson coemdy Johnny English.

Variety report that Oliver Parker (St. Trinian’s) is already on board to direct from a script by Hamish McColl (Mr. Bean’s Holiday).

The original film, released in 2003, made $161 million worldwide from a $40 million budget. It centered on a bumbling British spy, played by Atkinson. The new film will start shooting in August.
