French actor Vincent Cassel recently sat down with Edward Douglas over at ComingSoon.net and revealed that he is to return to one of his previous roles and star alongside Viggo Mortensen in a sequel to the superb Eastern Promises. The actor, who was promoting his new film Mesrine, which is split into two parts, and is actually quite good (think a French Scarface), when he broke the news to the site.
Cassel is currently shooting A Dangerous Method with ‘Promises’ helmer David Cronenberg.
“We talked very seriously about ‘Eastern Promises 2’ and it’s going to be shot in Russia with Viggo and myself.”
