According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog, An American Werewolf In London and National Lampoon’s Animal House helmer John Landis, is to team up with his son Max to bring a new superhero story to the screen.
The film, called Chronicle, tells the story of three Portland teenagers who develop superpowers. It will be made in a faux documentary type style, and will be directed by debuter Josh Trank.
The Landis father and son combo will produce the film, which is set up at Fox.

*Correction* John Landis is not involved with this project in any capacity. MAX LANDIS wrote the script and pitched it with Trank to studios last week with the aid of their managers. The film will be produced by John Davis and Adam Schroeder. Please cross-check your facts before publishing.
