Hoffman to return for Little Fockers

It has been confirmed today that Dustin Hoffman has been added to the cast of Meet The Parents: Little Fockers at the eleventh hour. Hoffman, who played Ben Stiller’s character Greg Focker’s father in Meet The Fockers, will shoot additional scenes for the Universal comedy that hits screens on December 22nd.

Robert De Niro and Barbra Streisand return for the comedy also.

Here’s the full synopsis for the film.

It has taken 10 years, two little Fockers with wife Pam (Teri Polo) and countless hurdles for Greg to finally get “in” with his tightly wound father-in-law, Jack.  After the cash-strapped dad takes a job moonlighting for a drug company, however, Jack’s suspicions about his favorite male nurse come roaring back.

When Greg and Pam’s entire clan—including Pam’s lovelorn ex, Kevin (Owen Wilson)—descends for the twins’ birthday party, Greg must prove to the skeptical Jack that he’s fully capable as the man of the house.  But with all the misunderstandings, spying and covert missions, will Greg pass Jack’s final test and become the family’s next patriarch…or will the circle of trust be broken for good?

    Superstar actor of tremendous, outstanding, universal talents is Ben Stiller as character Greg Focker. Along with fellow cast members of the trilogy of comedy Meet the Parents (2000), Meet the Fockers (2004) and Little Fockers (2010) release date December 22, 2010. Intuitively intelligent humorist Ben Stiller, along with the rest of the cast is right on track. Ben Stiller as Greg Focker is a proud father of twins’ possible a new little Focker is on the way, he is an active working parent in the male nursing profession. Hard economic times hit and he is forced to moonlight at a pharmaceutical company. Masterfully skilled actor Dustin Hoffman is returning as character Bernie Focker an earth loving husband to Rozilyn, affectionate father to Greg and grandfather to the twins. Bright, delightful and beautiful wife and mother Pamela Byrnes Focker is talented actress Teri Polo her characters father is the problem.
