It seems that a director for the sequel to this year’s Clash Of The Titans has been found. It will be none other than Jonathan Liebesman, who helmed the upcoming Battle: Los Angeles, who will hold the reigns for the upcoming flick, which is being brought to the screen once again by Warner Brothers and Legendary Pictures.
The first film was released in 3D and 2D earlier on in the year, but the 3D version was produced in post-production. In today’s announcement, it was revealed that the second film in the planned series will actually be filmed in 3D, making it, well a better three-dimentional experience.
Sam Worthington and Gemma Arterton are said to be returning for the sequel.
The first Clash of the Titans, which was directed by Louis Letterier, made over $491 million at the worldwide box-office, from a budget of just $125 million.
Battle: Los Angeles will not be released until March 2011. The flick, starring Aaron Eckhart and Michelle Rodriguez, revolves around a marine platoon that faces off against an alien invasion in Los Angeles.
