The very first images of actress Rooney Mara on the set of David Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo have surfaced on the internet over at one of Mara’s fansites.
The film, due in cinemas on December 21, 2011, also stars Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarsgard, Robin Wright and Max Von Sydow.
The film has already been made in its native language to much acclaim (the film is out on DVD everywhere now), and the second film in the trilogy, The Girl Who Played With Fire, has just arrived in cinemas.

Based on Stieg Larsson’s posthumously published crime thriller trilogy, “The Millennium Series.” The book describes the mystery surrounding the long-unsolved disappearance of an heiress. A journalist recently dinged by a libel case and a young female hacker try to resolve it, stirring up bundles of personal and industrial corruption along the way.
