DVD and Blu-Ray Release Info For Robin Hood

Universal Studios Home Entertainment have sent The Hollywood News some fantastic new information for their upcoming DVD and Blu-Ray release for Robin Hood, the awesome flick starring Russell Crowe, directed by the legendary Ridley Scott.

The film arrives on the home formats in both theatrical and director’s cut formats, so you can choose which one to put on.

Both hit the streets in the UK on September 20th, 2010.

Academy Award® winning duo Russell Crowe and Sir Ridley Scott combine creative forces again, this time to recreate the epic story of ROBIN HOOD, this Summer’s UK and global box office smash (UK: £15.4 million, over Worldwide: $300 million). ROBIN HOOD is released onto Director’s Cut Edition DVD & 2 disc Blu-ray on 20 September by Universal Pictures International Entertainment.

Directed by Sir Ridley Scott with Russell Crowe (State of Play, Gladiator) as Robin, along with a stellar cast including: Academy Award® winner Cate Blanchett (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Elizabeth), Mark Strong (Kick Ass, Sherlock Holmes) and William Hurt (Hulk, Vantage Point). The visually stunning Blu-ray set features both the Director’ Cut (including 17 minutes of unseen footage) along with the original theatrical version.
