The very first images of Daniel Radcliffe in the Hammer Films upcoming The Woman In Black have hit the web courtesy of Celebrity Gossip. The young Harry Potter actor plays the lead character of Arthur Kipps in the film which is directed by James Watkins (Eden Lake).
In the film, based on the classic play of the same name, Radcliffe’s Kipps, a young lawyer who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, and his unease grows when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black.
Eerie! Well, the play on which this is based has been running for years and years in London’s West End and it’s pretty darn creepy. Take a look at the full size images right here.
