Tarsem Singh, he who helmed the Jennifer Lopez vehicle THE CELL, is in talks to tackle a dark take on the Snow White story for Relativity Media, so reports Vulture.
The live-action project, entitled THE BROTHERS GRIMM: SNOW WHITE is described as an “edgy” and comedic look at the original Brothers Grimm story.
There are a couple of other ‘alternative’ takes on Snow White also in development. We have SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN over at Disney and SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN in development over at Universal.
Singh is currently finishing up work on Rogue Pictures’ IMMORTAL.
