James Cameron to direct Angelina Jolie in Cleopatra 3D?

Deadline are reporting that James Cameron may be looking to tackle a new 3D project, a project that will involve Angelina Jolie as Cleopatra in a new film in glorious three-dimensions.

Jolie is already attached the CLEOPATRA 3D project, which is n adaptation of the Stacy Schiff book Cleopatra: A Life.

The script is written by Brian Helgeland and the project is said to be being fast-tracked into production over at Sony.

Deadline reports that the “brilliant script [is] deserving of epic treatment” all about “what the Romans took from Egypt”.

    Oh good…two people who have nothing in common with Egyptian, Greek, or Roman history joining forces to ruin it! I don’t care how well it’s written, as an Egyptian, I feel robbed already. I’m hoping Angelina Jolie will speak with a British accent for that added authenticity. And maybe we can cast Brad Pitt as Mark Anthony. This is going to be great.
