Tarsem Singh has been officially confirmed to direct Relativity Media’s SNOW WHITE, the film described as an “edgy” and comedic look at the original Brothers Grimm story. The film is written by Melissa Wallack, and ComingSoon.net says the film starts with the evil stepmother killing Snow White’s father and destroying the kingdom. Snow White must then band together with a gang of seven quarrelsome dwarves to reclaim what is rightly hers.
There are a total of three alternative Snow White movies in production. We have SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN over at Disney and SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN in development over at Universal.
