That’s an IMAX cinema, owned by IMAX Corp and in recent years they’ve been popping up left right and centre across this fair and green Earth of ours. The mega-screen exhibitor is to open DreamWorks Animations new release MEGAMIND 3D on 195 screens this Friday; simultaneously with its North American theatre release.
Toronto-based IMAX is also to eventually screen the film on around 30 international screens over the course of the run, starting with nine this weekend. The film features the voices of Will Ferrell and Tina Fey and has now been digitally re-mastered for this special format.
