A Bond film every second year until we all die

It looks like Bond has managed to beat back the Repo man after MGM filing for chapter 11. They are free to pursue the franchise after putting Bond 23 on an indefinite hiatus back last April.

Even with this glimmer of hope for the uber-spy there are still a large amount of obstacles in his way, mainly the scheduling conflicts with Daniel Craig and director Sam Mendes.

Craig has just signed on for THE MILLENIUM TRILOGY, already starting filming on the remake/adaptation of THE GIRL THAT PLAYED WITH FIRE as well as recently completing Jon Favreau’s COWBOYS AND ALIENS which could be a franchise depending on the first’s success. And Mendes is busy toying with our ideas as well as making is BBC shakespeare productions.

But whatever happens it looks like Craig is still Bond, Mendes is still the director and MGM are looking to aim high for a film every two years.

Paul finished is BA in Film & Broadcast Productions during the summer and has somehow landed the position of Media & Marketing Manager in the London Korean Film Festival happening this November (plug). While at University Paul found his speciality lay in Script Development, scriptwriting and Editing. He has written, edited and director a small number of not very good short films but does not let that dissuade him from powering through. After the Koreans are through with him he looks to enter the paid world of Script Development. He likes incredibly bad horror films, East Asian movies, comics and lots of other stuff.
