Some pretty major casting news here for the planned SPIDER-MAN reboot starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans.
The word, according to SuperHeroHype is that Martin Sheen is in final talks with Sony and director Marc Webb to stars as Uncle Ben in the superhero movie.
Coming Soon are also reporting that Sally Field has been offered the role of Aunt May in the film also! Shooting kicks off in just over a month!
The film is set to release on July 3, 2012 in web-slinging 3D!
