Adam will update the website with the weekend box-office figures on Sunday, but here’s some breaking news, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 1 has made an astonishing $61.2 million on Friday, making it the fifth highest grosser for first day takings.
The film finished just behind the last two TWILIGHT sequels, which opened with $72.7 and $68.5 million, THE DARK KNIGHT ($67.2 million) and TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN ($62 million).
