Ben Hibon, who directed a superb little animated sequence in the latest Harry Potter movie HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 1, is to helm fantasy action thriller PAN.
The movie, according to Variety, “puts a dark spin on J.M. Barrie’s ‘Peter Pan,’ with Captain Hook as a haunted former police detective in pursuit of a childlike kidnapper.”
Guillermo del Toro was briefly attached to the project in the past.
Shooting kicks off late next year in Europe, according to the trade.
