Optimum Releasing has released the first trailer for the remake of the Graham Greene written 1938 mobster flick, BRIGHTON ROCK.
The new film transplants Brighton 1938 to the 1960’s and sees CONTROL‘s Sam Riley, as the ruthless gangster, Pinkie who falls in love with a witness to a murder he and another committed. The original is a classic starring Sir Richard Attenborough as the ever increasing paranoid spiv. Other cast members include, Andy Serkis, Helen Mirren, John Hurt and many other British talents.
The film is released on 4th February 2011 and the trailer and one sheet are below.
