Ben Foster and Giovanni Ribisi are in talks to join Mark Wahlberg and Kate Beckinsale in CONTRABAND, the Hollywood remake of the Icelandic thriller ‘Reykjavik-Rotterdam’. That film’s producer, writer and indeed star Baltasar Kormakur will direct the new film.
CONTRABAND follows a security guard played by Wahlberg, who after running into some financial troubles decides to go on one more smuggling run. Foster will play Wahlberg’s brother-in-law, according to the trade. There is no work as to who Ribisi will play as yet.
