A new clip has become available for Julie Taymor‘s adaptation of Shakespeare’s mystical adventure play, THE TEMPEST. Starring Helen Mirren, Djimon Hounsou, Russell Brand, and Ben Whislaw, the movie adds a unique twist to Shakespeare’s original concept by making the sorcerer Prospero into the sorceress, Prospera, played by Mirren. Using a mix of tragi-comedy, a little romance and some supernatural elements, the story focuses on Prospera as she reigns over the island and takes care of daughter, Miranda.
The film is released on the 10th of December in the US.
