Trailer: Thor

As Marvel promised, the first official trailer for THOR has been released.  It covers much the same ground as the leaked Comic Con trailer that hit the web a number of months ago before Marvel scrub it from the internet.  It does however show a few nice little extras including more footage of the Destroyer taking out a small town, Agent Coulson having his biggest role yet and a much larger view of Asgard.

The film stars; Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Natalie Portman (jane Foster), Kat Dennings (Darcey), Anthony Hopkins (Odin), Stellan Skarsgard (Prof Andrew), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Tom Hidleston (Loki) and Rene Russo (Frigga).

Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, “,” which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty  (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war.  is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on , as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that  learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.”

THOR comes out 29th April 2011.

Paul finished is BA in Film & Broadcast Productions during the summer and has somehow landed the position of Media & Marketing Manager in the London Korean Film Festival happening this November (plug). While at University Paul found his speciality lay in Script Development, scriptwriting and Editing. He has written, edited and director a small number of not very good short films but does not let that dissuade him from powering through. After the Koreans are through with him he looks to enter the paid world of Script Development. He likes incredibly bad horror films, East Asian movies, comics and lots of other stuff.
