Video game company Electronic Arts are reportedly developing a movie based on their infamous Madden Curse, a fictional curse that is inflicted on anyone who appears on the cover of their NFL video game series.
The Wrap reports the news and says that the story “will follow a former Madden video game champion who is forced out of retirement just as he finds himself on the corner of the game’s cover — and subject to the curse.”
The video game company’s Pat O’Brien, VP of EA Entertainment will produce.
