Scrat from “Ice Age” Gets His Own Mini-Movie…?

If you wanted a reason to go and see GULLIVER’S TRAVELS when it arrives in cinemas on the 25th, then maybe this will float your boat (don’t be surprised if it doesn’t though). Scrat’s getting his own short film! … You know, Scrat!… That little ragged rat-like squirrel from the ICE AGE movies? … Well… Anyway, SCRAT’S CONTINENTAL CRACK-UP will be shown in 3D just before the feature film and guess what? It has it’s own synopsis for you to read. Woohoo!

Here’s it is:

The special holiday treat sees Scrat still scrambling after the cursed acorn he’s been craving since the first ICE AGE film. Only this time, the chase has world-changing consequences. Forget what you’ve learned in geology about the continents forming as a result of massive tectonic shifts and volcanic eruptions tearing land masses apart. SCRAT’S CONTINENTAL CRACK-UP reveals that these seismic…crack-ups…came about from Scrat’s nutty misadventures.

The fourth film in the series, ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT is set for 3D released on 13th July 2012.

Watch a 15 second teaser of the SCRAT short below, if you dare…
