Breaking News: Clint Eastwood to direct Beyonce in new version of musical ‘A Star Is Born’

Deadline are reporting an exclusive saying that Clint Eastwood is going to try his hand at the movie musical, and in particular a new version of A STAR IS BORN. What’s more, the film already has a female lead in the form of R ‘n’ B sensation, former member of Destiny’s Child and bonafide actress Beyonce Knowles.

A STAR IS BORN has actually been remade twice previous to this. Judy Garland and James Mason starred in the 1954 original, while Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson appeared in the 1976 update. The original 1937 film starred Janet Gaynor and Fredric March.

The story revolves around a has-been musician who falls for an up and coming starlet, helping her to find fame. Beyonce would play said starlet in the new movie, with the male lead yet to be cast. Robert Downey Jr and John Hamm are mentioned as possible contenders for the role, according to the trade today.

The film is set up at Warner Brothers.

—-Beyonce’s ten years too young for retreads. What gives?

FACT IS Eastwood’s now been exposed fronting a whole string
of cunningly demoralizing, POST American, ‘eugenics friendly’
pictures (IWO trilogy, Mystic River, Milion Dollar Baby etc.)
This ‘STAR’ with its primetime star, is to be used for pre-programming
of ‘suicide culture’ into the mainstream.

Jolie’s remake of the ‘Cleopatra’ is being used for much the same end
—and Cameron, apparently, learned we were onto them and fled the project.

Everyone steer clear of Eastwood’s ‘STAR’ —esp. Beyonce!!!!
