Variety are reporting that Will Gluck is set to produce a remake of the classic 1986 comedy ABOUT LAST NIGHT. The original film starred Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Jim Belushi and Elizabeth Perkins, and revolved around a couple who start a romantic affair despite their friends’ disapproval.
Gluck recently directed the weel received EASY A, as well as FIRED UP! His next comedy to hit the big screen is the Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis rom-com FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS.
The original ABOUT LAST NIGHT was helmed by Edward Zwick, who directed last year’s LOVE & OTHER DRUGS. ABOUT LAST NIGHT is originally based on “Sexual Perversity in Chicago,” by David Mamet.
No work yet as to whether Gluck will direct the new remake or not. The word is… probably not, but we’ll keep you informed.
