Naomi Watts has reportedly joined the cast of Clint Eastwood’s J. EDGAR. The actress will play the part of Helen Gandy in the biopic, which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead role as Hoover, alongside Armie Hammer, Ed Westwick, Judi Dench and Josh Lucas.
According to Variety, Gandy was the longtime personal secretary to FBI director J. Edgar Hoover. Gandy began working for Hoover in 1918 and continued in that role until he passed away in 1972.
