Katherine Heigl (Killers, Knocked Up), has joined the cast of director Garry Marshall’s ensemble piece New Year’s Eve, according to Deadline.
The movie revolves around a number of intertwining stories set against the backdrop of New York City on New Year’s Eve.
According to the trade, Heigl will play caterer who winds up forced to work on December 31st, serving a party attended by a former boyfriend, now a famous rock musician (Jon Bon Jovi).
She joins an impressive cast list that includes: Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Biel, Sarah Jessica Parker, Zac Efron, Sienna Miller, Seth Meyes and Til Schweiger.
The film will be released on December 9th.
