THN has seen the new international trailer for THE RAVEN and thinks you should take a look as well. It’s directed by James McTeigue who has previously found fame with the topical V FOR VENDETTA. There are hints of the action sequences from that film in this trailer and a definite SHERLOCK HOLMES feel to proceedings. We do have John Cusack leading the way as the macabre Edgar Allen Poe and from this snippet and it does look intriguing.
THE RAVEN is set in the final fictional days of Edgar Allen Poe’s life. The poet is pursuing a serial killer whose murders begins to perfectly reflect his writing. It also stars Luke Evans (IMMORTALS) and Alice Eve (ENTOURAGE) and is set for release on the 9th March 2012.
