Hall Pass, the latest film from the Farrelly brothers hits cinemas very soon, and today a very rude red band trailer for the film filthed up the Internet. With such classic chat up lines like; “My cock just died… why don’t you let me bury it inside you,” etc, the trailer is actually quite amusing.
The film itself I await with mixed feelings. The Farrelly’s can be very hit (There’s Something About Mary, Dumb and Dumber) or indeed very miss (The Heartbreak Kid). Stephen Merchant wouldn’t sign up for anything less that genius would he?
Hall Pass hits everywhere March 11th. Here’s the synopsis.
Best buds Rick and Fred (Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis) have both been married for many years. When they begin to show signs of restlessness at home, their wives (Jenna Fischer and Christina Applegate) take a bold approach to revitalize their marriages: they grant the guys a “hall pass,” one week of freedom to do whatever they want. No questions asked.
At first, it sounds like a dream come true for Rick and Fred, but they quickly discover that their expectations of the single life—and themselves—are completely and hilariously out of sync with reality.
