He has played Robin Hood, JFK, a webbed footed advernturer and even a professional golfer (if you can believe that), and now Kevin Costner could be heading for Warner Brothers’ big reboot of the Superman franchise for director Zack Snyder.
Deadline reported the news earlier today, but people are speculating about the role that Costner could potentially be playing. Looks like it has been whittled down to three – Perry White, Jonathan Kent or General Sam Lane, who is apparently Lois Lane’s father.
Costner is next to be seen in the Ben Affleck starrer The Company Men, which is released next month.
The new Superman will be released in December 2012.
