John Cusack has been cast in a new comedy entitled DICTABLANDA, which will be brought to the screen by Alejandro Agresti, the director of THE LAKE HOUSE.
According to the trade paper Variety, Cusack co-wrote the film alongside Agresti, Kevin Morris and Paul Hipp. The story described as being a ‘screwball comedy,’ with the title referring to is a political term used to describe dictatorships with a high regard for civil liberties.
Shooting is about to kick off in Argentina, according to the Variety report.
