In news which has pretty much ‘just broke,’ (hark at us with the timely updates), Julianne Moore is set to play US politician Sarah Palin in a new HBO drama called GAME CHANGE. The planned film will be directed by Jay Roach, yes the man who brought us the MEET THE PARENTS and AUSTIN POWERS movies, will direct from a script by Danny Strong.
EW reports that the film is based on the book by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin following John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign. Palin was in line for the Vice President position.
