The villain has been cast in DISTRICT 9 director Neill Blomcamp’s ELYSIUM, according to an article over at Latino Review. Wagner Moura will join th already cast Sharlto Copley, Matt Damon and Jodie Foster in the sci-fi movie, which the site says ‘is set 100 years in the future’ and according to Blomkamp “is set on another planet, but it’s cool. It’s violent, very violent, and very unique hopefully.”
Wagner is best known for roles in Brazillian films ELITE SQUAD and ELITE SQUAD 2, which I vaguely recollect.
The villain in ELYSIUM is said to be craaaazy with a craaaazy sense of homour. So, are we talking Riggs crazy?
