Variety are reporting that David Slade (30 DAYS OF NIGHT) has signed on to direct a reboot of DAREDEVIL for 20th Century Fox. In their exclusive, the trade says that Peter Chernin’s Chernin Entertainment will produce the film, which will be a continuation story rather than a complete reboot. However, Ben Affleck, who played the title character in the original 2003 DAREDEVIL movie, will have no involvement in the new film.
The film is based on the Marvel comic books of the same name.
So, what do we think. The look of 30 DAYS OF NIGHT is perfect for this right? Slade could be perfect. More news as we get it.
