Some big news now as Robert Redford announced that he plans to bring the magic of Sundance and independent film to the UK for a four day bonanza celebration of independent film and music next year. The event will run at London’s O2 arena from April 26-29th, 2012, just months before the area plays host to the 2012 Olympic games.
It is our mutual goal to bring to the UK the very best in current American independent cinema, to introduce the artists responsible for it, and in essence help build a picture of our country that is broadly reflective of the diversity of voices not always seen in our cultural exports,” Redford told reporters at the O2 earlier on today.
AEG Europe are organising the event, which will bring the best of the US fest to London over the four days.
Wow, this is exciting news for us right?
